Digital twins of warehouses – intralogistics

ASSOCIATED TO THE AREA OF EXCELLENCE
SUPPLY CHAIN

WHAT DO WE FOCUS ON?

Management of carbon footprint and greenhouse gases emission in intralogistics is a process that needs to benefit from the use of digital twins. We thus work towards the design of digital twins for warehouses allowing to support decision-making at several stages of the lifecycle (pre-project, exploitation, end of life). Our digital twin allows to support, through the design of what-if (simulation and optimization) and how-to (simulation and Artificial Intelligence) scenarios, the following decisions during the execution of activities and in the short‑, mid‑, and long-term: Changes in the warehouse layout; Selection of mechanized/automated/robotized/cobotized solutions ; Capacity management ; Flow management ; Maintenance management ; Environmental impact management ; Virtual Commissioning.
