WHAT DO WE FOCUS ON?
Our research work is part of the causal inference field, an area of artificial intelligence aiming to establish a causal relationship between a given stimulation and an expected outcome. Applied to the marketing field, it focuses on delivering an algorithm that identifies users who are most responsive to marketing cold calls (Uplift). We have defined a new Uplift model building on the information theory, unpublished in the literature and pioneering in the field of automated learning. The delivery of a complete algorithm that was validated both scientifically and empirically has allowed to develop an operational solution and the associated algorithms.
RESEARCHERS

Michael BON, PhD
An alumni of Ecole Polytechnique, Michael holds a PhD in Physics. Within the Square Research Center, Michael is facilitating and contributing to the Data Science activities and participates in the work with LAMSADE (UMR 7243). He also focuses on designing and developing effective and customized algorithm solutions for his clients by building on a broad scientific culture.

Clément FEUTRY, PhD
A graduate from ENS Cachan where he majored in electrical engineering, Clément obtained an MSc in applied physics at Paris-Sud University. Laureate of the external competitive examination of the agrégation in Engineering industrial sciences, holding an MSc in networks and telecommunications from Supelec, Clément has received his PhD in 2019 from Paris-Saclay University. During his PhD in a Centrale-Supelec laboratory, he developed a Framework for the automated anonymization of data thanks to Deep Learning through the use of information theory.
Within the Square Research Center, Clément contributes to the work of the Area of Excellence Data, and participates in the work of LAMSADE (UMR 7243). He is the author of frequent publications and has taught at several higher education institutions including ENS Paris-Saclay.
